Why is it important for pets to have their own homes?
First of all, you have to remember that pets are not humans. Each animal has different needs. As a pet owner, you need to make sure you meet his needs.
Hierarchy and territory are important for dogs, which is why they appreciate their own resting place. In their turn, cats are independent and enjoy having their own space.
In general, pet areas, such as cottages or cribs, allow them to have a safe space where they feel comfortable, protected and quiet. Furthermore, gives them the comfort they need to rest and protect themselves from the cold or heat.
Just as your room and bed give you a private place to sleep well, pets must have their own space to relax, to sleep and keep his toys.
Pets should also have their own bed to prevent the spread of diseases such as mites and fleas. The Spanish Society of Pediatric Clinical Immunology and Allergology indicates that dog and cat allergens remain in the air for a long time and are found mainly in feces.
To avoid the proliferation of these allergens, pets should not sleep in the same bed with their owners and should also be washed frequently. Similarly, you need to clean your house well if you have a pet.
Appetizer pancakes & # 8211 Cheerful recipes, in tandem
Not for nothing, but we are not by far the most skilled or sophisticated in the kitchen, so we had to find a magic ingredient to help us when needed.
And since we like weekends and visits from friends, Saturday is a perfect day for RECIPES with JOY, isn't it?
Today the first episode of Recipes with Joy is about APPETIZER PANCAKES.
You will see in the video how much fun we had, but in short, the steps are as follows:
For pancake sheets:
- I used 5 country eggs, 1 liter of milk, flour and a pinch of salt.
More than 20 sheets of pancakes came out.
For the filling:
- Here is room for imagination. I like pancakes stuffed with mushrooms hardened with onions, for example, over which I sprinkle a little fresh parsley. Emma likes pancakes with lots of grated cheese or cheese, cream and dill.
At the end, you can put them in the oven for a while and impress your friends with some hot appetizers & delicious snacks!
But the most important thing is to be in tandem in the kitchen, that's the secret ingredient!
Joy saves any recipe and compensates for anything else. Ah & # 8230and of course, to have dear friends to brag about, ah & # 8230 I wanted to say which one to serve with what you cooked!

How to make a gingerbread template?
I have prepared the template for you in pdf format. You can download it from HERE. The template is printed on A4 paper and cut out. Then it is used to mark the desired shapes on the dough. You can increase it by 1.5 or 2 sizes to get a big gingerbread house (don't forget to multiply the quantities in the recipe!).
How to cut the dough with a template?
The dough is spread between two sheets of baking paper.
The dough sheet must have a thickness of approx. 3-4mm (will grow when baked).
Place the templates on top of the dough and cut the respective shapes with a knife with a long and sharp blade. We also cut the paper under them so that each piece has its own baking paper at the bottom, at its size. Use a ruler for guidance and be careful not to cut the tablecloth or table!
Remove any excess dough edges. We will have the front and back of the house (with and without door), we will have two sides and two parts for the roof, as well as the door.
Bake the pieces one by one at 170 ° C for 8-9 minutes (preheated oven). Spread a tray with baking paper and place the pieces of cake in turn (along with the papers at the bottom & # 8211 are easy to handle like this) & # 8211 2-3 each. They should NOT be touched because they still grow when baked!
We continue until we bake all the necessary pieces. From the edges of the dough we stretch again a sheet from which we cut pieces. In addition to these shapes, you can also make fir trees, fences or any other decoration you want or a few pieces of gingerbread.
"Cob Village", the holiday minisat with story houses
In a village in Romania, the stories come to life in a completely new way. It is about & # 8221Cob Village & # 8221, an ecological minisat from Buzău county, where there is a wonderful collection of fairytale houses, built of clay, with a roof on which the grass grows.
The project, which took root in the summer of 2013, is located in the village of Berca and was initiated by Nicoleta Marin, an ambitious teacher, who dreams of including the whole ensemble in an ecological tourist circuit.
Story houses, ecological
In Cob Village you can admire the beautiful ecological houses, built only from environmentally friendly materials. Therefore, in the minisat from Buzau, those who arrive can see houses built of clay, a mixture of clay soil, sand, wheat or barley straw, and last but not least, water.
Ecological house completed
Corner-free clay houses, which respect the style of yesteryear, are differentiated by a single aspect: the use of recycled car windshields, windows, instead of glass, to avoid the steaming process.
In the Buzau village of Berca, which has already become a fairytale place, the houses have bottles positioned in the clay walls, so that the light can penetrate as naturally as possible inside.
Completely devoid of formwork, bricks or any other chemicals, the unique constructions capture attention through the green roof, on which generously grows a natural carpet of grass and decorative plants.
Grass and decorative plants
According to specialists, it gives the home a good thermal and sound insulation, and last but not least, a pleasant exterior.
Pampering and total comfort
The ensemble, which, so far, includes five houses, is highlighted by the story houses, round, without corners and edges.
An ingenious lighting system can be seen in their exterior walls, possible by modeling niches in which bottles have been inserted in a rich color palette, as well as jars, through which light can flood the interior.
Interior (in process of completion)
For extra comfort, in the ecological houses the introduction of thermal power plants will follow, so that the tourists will have a pampering according to the completely remarkable setting.
With the completion of the eco minisat, the initiator of the project intends to set up a local market in its center, to promote traditional products in the area.
Inside each house, the walls will be waxed, after a layer of linseed oil has been brushed on their surface.
As for the safety of tourists, they can put all their trust in the charming cottages. The director of the Berca project guarantees their resistance to earthquakes. Built only from completely ecological materials, the risk of their walls collapsing is non-existent.
In order to preserve the natural elements, the houses detached as if from the fantastic world were built on curved wooden pillars in raw form, brought from the forest.
The originality and naturalness of the project can be confirmed by the whole acacias, which, in some parts of the houses, protrude from the walls, assuring the visitor once again the uniqueness of the ecological minisat.
The only interventions performed on them are related to the processed and fireproof wood, as well as the construction of the concrete foundation, given the fact that the geological study confirmed a predisposition of the land to landslides.

8 interesting bird house ideas that can be made by children
Do you remember how I used to make bird houses as a child? It was an activity that involved the whole family. Let us not deprive our children of the pleasure of developing their civic spirit, but also their imagination. Especially now, on the eve of winter, when birds find it harder to move.
If the classic (wooden) version seems difficult to you, we propose below some ideas for making bird houses and feeders, which can be easily made by any child, from things we have at home, without incurring additional costs.
From empty containers from coffee, chips, tea, etc.
From cardboard boxes. The ones that sell dairy products (yogurt, kefir, etc.) are ideal.
From the egg boxes. It would be a shame to throw away the empty boxes from now on, because you know how many hungry birds you can save.
From an orange. But you can also use a small watermelon. All you have to do is empty them from the inside and fill them with bird seeds.
From ice cream sticks. If you haven't collected enough chopsticks during the summer, you can find them at any stationery store.
From the kitchen utensils. If you have a cracked cup, saucer, etc., do not throw it away. With a little imagination you can turn it into an ideal bird feeder.
