Pineapple Cheese Salad Ingredients

  1. Cheese (preferably hard, but also processed) 500 gr.
  2. Pineapples (canned) 1 can (approximately 500 gr.)
  3. Shrimp (pink) -300 gr. taste
  4. Mayonnaise to taste
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Parsley or dill. taste
  7. Bay leaf to taste
  8. Black pepper (peas) to taste
  9. Onion (onion) 1 pc.

Cooking cheese salad with pineapple:

Step 1: Cook the shrimp.

Of course, you can buy ready-made frozen shrimp, but I prefer to cook shrimp myself at home. Therefore, we need to start to prepare a vegetable broth in which we will cook shrimp. Pour water into a pan, put it on the fire. We take one onion, we clear and the mode in half. Add onions, 2-3 sprigs of dill or parsley, a couple of allspice peas, bay leaf and salt to a pot of water. Bring the broth to a boil and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. Then remove the onions and spices from the broth, and put the shrimps previously washed in the pan. As soon as the shrimp ceases to be transparent, you can cook them for another 5-10 minutes and then pull out. Cool the shrimp and clear them of the shell.

Step 2: Cooking Cheese Salad with Pineapples.

We will lay the salad in layers. Therefore, we need to first cut all the ingredients. Prawns and pineapples are cut into small cubes. Rub cheese on a coarse grater. Pineapples can be bought already chopped. We take a salad bowl and spread the grated cheese with the first layer, a little grease it with mayonnaise. Spread the shrimps with the second layer (leave a little for decoration). The third layer is pineapples. And finally, with the fourth layer, again lay the grated cheese, and grease with mayonnaise on top.

Step 3: Serve the cheese salad with pineapple.

On top of the salad, as a decoration, you can sprinkle finely chopped greens and put a little remaining shrimp. Cheese salad with pineapple is ready. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Instead of shrimp, you can add boiled chicken fillet to the salad, but then the layer with the fillet will need to be slightly salted and greased with mayonnaise.

- - I prefer not to grease the salad much, so I just smeared the upper and lower layers with mayonnaise. But you can also grease the shrimp layer with mayonnaise. It all depends on your desire and taste preference.

- - If you do not like salads with mayonnaise, then you can use sour cream sauce with the addition of only a few grams of mayonnaise.
