Salad "Cute rabbit"


Ingredients for making a Cute Rabbit Salad

Making a Cute Rabbit Salad:

Step 1: Boil the vegetables and eggs.

Potatoes and carrots need to be washed, placed in boiling salt water directly in the peel and cook for 15 to 20 minutes until the vegetables are in a soft state (check with a fork for readiness). Rinse the eggs, put in a second saucepan with water and cook for 8 to 12 minutes, then place the saucepan with eggs in the sink, cool them with cold water.

Step 2: Knead the fish.

A jar of fish must be opened with a can opener, drain the oil and put its contents on a plate. Mash the fish with a fork and put it in the shape of a rabbit's head on a serving dish. The cooled eggs, potatoes and carrots need to be peeled and skinned.

Step 3: Spread the first layers of salad.

Smear the fish layer with mayonnaise using a spoon, and peel the onions, wash and chop very finely, then put it on the fish, this is the second layer of our salad. So that the onion does not bite, you can soak it in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes after you chop it, but this is not necessary, especially if you are positive about spicy foods.

Step 4: Grind the vegetables and eggs and lay them in layers.

Grate the carrots and salt it a little (leave 2 strips for decoration), then lay it on the onion layer. Smear this layer with mayonnaise without sparing it, as carrots absorb fat and oil well. Peel and grate potatoes, lay out with the next layer, spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with grated egg whites.

Step 5: Serve the Cute Rabbit Salad.

Before serving salad directly on the table, decorate it: cut out the mouth and nose from the strips of carrots, and leave for the ears. From olives we will make antennae, eyes and nose. Place the dish in the refrigerator for a while so that the salad is saturated. Serve in a serving plate, then cut into portions on the table. Good appetite!

- - In order for the canned fish to be suitable for eating, when buying it, you need to pay attention to the jar: it should not have dents or cracks. Canned fish should be transferred to enameled dishes immediately after opening the can.

- - If the mayonnaise is too thick to be easily spread, stir it with liquid sour cream in a 1: 3 ratio.

- - As a salad decoration, you can use not only olives and carrots, but also corn grains, green onions, red or green bell peppers, as well as other vegetables of contrasting colors.
