Meatballs in Tomato Sauce

Cooking meatballs in tomato sauce:

Step 1: Make Minced Meat

We all probably know how to make stuffing. But I still recall, suddenly, who forgot. We take out the meat grinder and rinse well, otherwise it has already run out. Cut the meat into small pieces to make it easier to twist. For example, I took pork and beef. We throw in a meat grinder and grind well. Stuffing is ready.

Step 2: Cook the vegetables.

We clean the carrot and three on a small grater. Then peel the onion, do not be surprised, also three on a small grater. Why are we three on a small grater? So that the mince was homogeneous and we did not feel vegetables.

Step 3: Mix the minced meat with rice.

Rinse thoroughly with running water, preferably several times, to be sure that there is nothing extra. Then mix the minced meat with carrot, onion and, of course, rice. Here we have such a gruel. Salt and add spices to taste. I can even recommend which ones. I used the hops-suneli. It turns out very tasty.

Step 4: Put the balls on the baking sheet.

Now we tear off a piece of minced meat, so much as to make balls. We envelop meatballs in flour and spread in a mold.

Step 5: make the sauce.

Pour tomato juice into a saucepan and put on the stove. Then let it boil. When we stir, add salt and pepper. I threw even a little sugar for the taste, but it's up to you. Then put the bay leaf, hold it there for five minutes.

Step 6: Bake the meatballs and serve.

Evenly pour meatballs made with sauce. Cover with foil, so they are better baked. Put in the oven for 25-35 minutes, until cooked. These are the meatballs we get. We divide into portions and proceed to the meal. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Meatballs can be made more elongated, not necessarily balls.

- - When serving, you can pour them with sour cream, mashed potatoes with cabbage salad will be a good side dish.

- - Take meat with fat, so the meatballs will turn out fleshy and nourishing.
