Step 1: Prepare the jars.

The amount of ingredients in the recipe is calculated for one can of 2.5 liters. Therefore, if you want to close more tomatoes, take more ingredients and, accordingly, cans. First, take a 2.5 liter jar and scald it with boiling water. Do not pour boiling water - the jar may burst. Let the water temperature be a little lower. When the jar is sterilized, leave them in the sink (it will be more convenient). Now that the jars are prepared, we put in them a dressing for tomatoes - garlic, herbs and spices. After washing and drying the tomatoes and also put them in a jar on the shoulders. Perhaps it will take you less, or vice versa, more tomatoes than indicated in the recipe, since it all depends on the size of the tomatoes.

Step 2: pickle the tomatoes.

Now you need to rinse the tomatoes several times. To do this, put water to boil and pour a jar of tomatoes with boiling water. Pour water directly into the center of the can - try not to get on the walls, as the bank may burst due to the temperature difference. When you poured water for the first time, let the banks stand for 10 -15 minutes. Now the water must be drained. We heat the kettle again and fill the jars with boiling water. Now we leave the filled cans for 5 minutes and again drain the water. Now that you have drained the water, put salt, sugar in a jar and add vinegar. And again, pour boiling water. Now cans can be rolled up and turned upside down.

Step 3: Serve the pickled tomatoes, harvest without sterilization.

When we closed our banks, we set them aside in a cool dark place. The banks will stand quietly until the winter, but maybe you can’t wait and still open the first jar early. Try it, it is very tasty! Enjoy your meal!

- - It is best to take cherry tomatoes. They are small and juicy.

- - You can pour tomatoes not with boiling water, but with a ready-made marinade, brought to a boil. Each time, fill the jar and pour it back into the pan.
