Cooking cakes "Christmas balls":

Step 1: Grind the biscuit.

To start, biscuit (dried or biscuit cookies), grind into small crumbs. This can be done with an ordinary kitchen towel and a meat hammer. To do this, fold the biscuit in a dense plastic bag, put it on a cutting board, cover with a towel and beat until the biscuit turns into crumbs. Pour the ready-made sponge cake from the bag into a deep bowl.

Step 2: Cook the creamy milk mass.

Now in a small saucepan combine the butter, granulated sugar, milk and cocoa. Stir the mixture thoroughly and place it on low heat. Stir constantly, bring mass until smooth without lumps. After this, remove the pan from the heat, cool a little and add to the biscuit. Stir and add cream and rum to it. Thoroughly mix the mass until a homogeneous consistency.

Step 3: We form and decorate the Christmas balls.

Moisten your hands under cold water, pinch some of the mass and roll the ball out of it with your palms. Thus, proceed with the rest of the mass, periodically wetting the hands with water, so that the dough does not stick to the skin of the hands and the balls get the correct shape. Put the balls on a cutting board at a short distance from each other so that they do not stick together. Chop the nuts with a knife into small pieces and pour into a separate bowl. Prepare coconut flakes by placing them in a separate container. Also do special culinary sprinkles and cocoa. Grate the chocolate on a fine grater. Now roll the prepared balls in turn in different batter and put on a serving plate with a slide. Put the items in the refrigerator, at least 1 hourand it’s better all night so that the cakes can soak well.

Step 4: Serve the Christmas balls.

Serve prepared and chilled cakes to the festive New Year or ordinary table as a delicious dessert. For children, serve with milk or warm cocoa. The dish is bright and varied in appearance, but it will be remembered mainly for its gentle and pleasant taste. Good appetite!
