Garlic mushrooms

Ingredients for making garlic pampushki


  1. Milk (any fat content) 200 ml.
  2. Butter 50 gr.
  3. Chicken egg 1 pc.
  4. Premium wheat flour 500 gr.
  5. Dry yeast 5 grams
  6. Salt 1 tsp
  7. Sugar 1 tbsp. a spoon

Garlic Sause:

  1. Garlic 4 large cloves
  2. Vegetable oil 1-2 tsp
  3. Dill to taste
  4. Parsley to taste
  5. Salt to taste

Cooking garlic pampushki:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

Put butter in a small saucepan and melt on the weakest the fire. Then boil the milk and add the melted butter to it. Stir thoroughly. Mix the egg with sugar and salt and rub well (mix). Pour milk and butter into the eggs. Sift the flour through a sieve, add dry yeast to it (soaking them beforehand is not required). Add a mixture of eggs and milk to the flour and knead the dough. Stir the dough until it gets a homogeneous consistency without lumps. We cover the finished dough with a napkin and leave it in a warm place for an hour, so that it "rises", increases in size.

Step 2: We form dumplings.

Divide the rising dough into portions, about the size of a large egg. We form round buns from pieces of dough. We grease the baking sheet with oil and put the dumplings on it, slightly crushing them. Leave them on 30 minutes for proofing (final dough formation, increase in size).

Step 3: Bake the dumplings.

Beat the egg with a whisk or fork and coat the donuts with a beaten egg. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees and put dumplings in it on 20-30 minutes. We make sure that they do not burn out. We check the readiness of donuts by sticking a match or a toothpick into one of them - if the match remained dry, the dough was baked.

Step 4: Cooking the Garlic Sauce.

While baking dumplings, we prepare garlic sauce. Peel the garlic and chop finely with a knife. Wash greens with cold water, scald with boiling water and also finely chop. Grind garlic and herbs in a mortar with a pinch of salt. Then add vegetable oil there and mix thoroughly. The consistency of the sauce should be as thick as sour cream.

Step 5: Serve the garlic pampushki.

We smear the finished hot donuts with garlic sauce and serve with borsch. Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - Milk in the dough can be replaced with plain water.

- - Place the dumplings on a baking sheet close to each other so that they better keep their shape.

- - Garlic sauce can be prepared in a blender.
