Lean Dumpling Ingredients

Cooking lean dumplings:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

It is necessary to sift the flour, which will remove impurities from it - if they are, loosen it and enrich it with oxygen. The latter circumstance is very important, since the future dough, kneaded on sifted flour, will become very soft and magnificent. A sieve will help you with this. So, the sifted flour is already in a large bowl, and it's time to add salt and pour a glass of warm water. Knead the dough, adding more flour if necessary. The dough should stop sticking to your hands, be soft and lush enough, so it should not be crushed and compacted too much. It's time to let the dough lie down: put our "gingerbread man" back in a bowl and cover with a plate or film on 20-40 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the filling.

Until the dough reaches the desired state, we will deal with mushrooms and onions. Peel 2 onions and chop them finely enough, but not too much (roughly 0,5 x 0,5 x 0.8 cm) Mushrooms should be dealt with in a similar way, but the size of the sliced ​​mushrooms should be slightly larger than the pieces of onion. Mushrooms can be cut into slices - so they are better fried. In general, in the methods of slicing, be guided by what kind of taste sensations you would like to get from dumplings. Well? Chopped up? Ok, turn on the stove, put the pan, add oil. First we put onions in the pan, and after that - mushrooms. Please note that the mushrooms will give juice, and in order for them to be well fried, you need to evaporate this juice. If you want, add salt to taste. When you bring the state of mushrooms and onions to the state you need, then it's time to remove the pan from the stove and cool to room temperature.

Step 3: Form the dumplings and cook.

Cut small pieces - cubes with an edge about 1.5 cm - from the "bun", roll them out with a rolling pin into circles. Now each such circle needs to be filled with a cooled filling and blinded around the edges - make a dumpling. There are other ways to sculpt, and if you want, you can use your favorite. When the right amount of dumplings is molded, it is time to cook them. Pour water into the pan, place on the stove and bring the water to a boil. Then we throw the dumplings into boiling water. Be on the alert, as everything will go to the state of readiness from 3 to 5 minutesdue to pre-cooked filling.

Step 4: We serve lean dumplings to the table.

Dumplings are removed from the pan using a slotted spoon and placed on a serving platter. It is necessary to add oil and stir the dumplings so that it is evenly distributed on the surface of each. This action is necessary in that it does not allow dumplings to go blind. Serve hot to the table. Enjoy your meal!
