Orange Salad Ingredients

Cooking Salad in Orange:

Step 1: take the oranges.

When choosing oranges, do not philosophize much. Just hold the orange in your hands. If the fruit is heavy, then it will be juicy and tasty. For our salad, we take large oranges. Rinse them thoroughly with a brush under water. We take a knife and make curly baskets out of them, for this we cut the oranges in half, cut off part of the peel from below to give the baskets stability. Next, carefully remove the pulp from the halves of the oranges with a tablespoon, remove the white fibers. Separate the slices from the membranes and cut them into small pieces on a cutting board. Put the sliced ​​oranges and baskets aside.

Step 2: take the apples.

Apples blend very harmoniously into our salad, adding a special flavor to it. For salad, take sour - sweet apples. We wash them, clean them from the skin and core. We take a chopping board and cut the apples into small cubes, and then put them aside.

Step 3: take celery.

First, thoroughly wash the celery root, then clean it with a knife from a rough peel, and rinse again. Then cut it into small cubes. We take a pan, put celery in it and pour boiling water, after 30 minutes, pour the boiling water, pour ice water with juice of half squeezed lemon juice (wash the lemon well beforehand), leave for 10 minutes. Then we discard the celery in a colander and dry.

Step 4: chop canned pineapple.

When choosing canned pineapples in a tin can, pay attention to whether the can is damaged, if there is rust on it, if the can is swollen and if its contents are leaking. We take out the canned pineapple from the syrup and cut into small cubes.

Step 5: prepare the sauce.

To do this, take mayonnaise, mix it with sugar, black pepper and salt. The sauce is ready!

Step 6: mix the ingredients.

In a small but wide plate we mix oranges cut into small pieces, sliced ​​sweet and sour apples, celery root, chopped canned pineapples. Grind the peeled walnuts with a knife and mix part (about half) with our ingredients. Pour the second half of the squeezed lemon and season them with the prepared sauce, mix everything.

Step 7: serve the salad in orange.

We spread the salad in curly orange baskets, sprinkle with the remaining walnuts, you can also sprinkle with cranberries. Serve the salad on the table on a large flat plate. Salad in orange is ready! Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- - It is better to mix salads in a small but wide bowl. This will better preserve the shape of chopped vegetables and fruits.

- - When adding vegetables to the salad, do not combine warm and cold vegetables, the salad will deteriorate faster.

- - If you are dressing a salad, and this allows the recipe, it is better to replace the usual mayonnaise with sour cream, yogurt, vegetable oil, fruit or vegetable juice or pickle brine.
