Ingredients for Carrot and Apple Cutlets

  2. Apple 1 pc.
  3. Milk 0.5 cups
  4. Butter 4 tablespoons
  5. Semolina 2 tablespoons
  6. Breadcrumbs 2 tablespoons
  7. Eggs 1 pc.
  8. Vegetable oil 100-150 grams
  9. Sour cream 150 grams
  10. Sugar to taste
  11. Salt to taste

Cooking carrot and apple cutlets:

Step 1: prepare carrots and apples.

We take our carrots, wash them under running water and clean them with a knife, that is, remove the top skin. And finely chopped. We also clean the apples, peel them, cut them in half and remove the core. After that, cut them into small cubes.

Step 2: cook the carrots in a saucepan.

Put butter in a stewpan, pour half a glass of milk and add chopped carrots. We put on a small fire and simmer for about 4 minutes.

Step 3: add apples and semolina.

After 4-5 minutes, finely chopped apples and semolina are added to the stewpan with a milk-carrot mass. More salt and sugar to taste. Again, let it all go out, now less, about 3 minutes.

Step 4: we form the patties themselves.

After our carrot mass has cooled down and it can be taken into your hands without much harm to health - we drive an egg into it and mix it to form cutlets. “Roll” them in breadcrumbs and, after pre-heating the pan with vegetable oil, fry on both sides, for about 5-7 minutes on each side.

Step 5: serve to the table.

Well, that’s it, our cutlets are ready. Pour them on top with sour cream and serve. Enjoy your meal!

- - when choosing carrots, it is best to take it from the harvest of this season.

- - apples should be selected whole, not rotten. As an option, the Golden variety is suitable.
